Too few public reviews to rate. We found 9 reviews about the AI itself; a share needs 10 that mention the point. The profile below sets out what NiCE publishes.
What reviewers say
9 public reviews about the AI, from PeerSpot, Trustpilot. Each share counts the reviews that mention the point.
Read with care. Many reviews come from technology vendors and implementers. Reviewers who said they are partners or resellers were left out, but some of the rest may be implementers too.

What it does
NiCE Cognigy is a conversational AI platform for customer service, with AI Agent Studio, Knowledge AI and AI Ops as core parts1. Voice AI agents answer phone calls, and the same platform covers chat and messaging channels1. Phone calls run through Voice Gateway, an add-on that connects the AI agent to a contact center and handles speech recognition and text to speech2.

Handing a conversation to a person
As NiCE documents it. Reviewers' experience of handoffs is in the shares above.
A Handover to Human Agent step in the flow sends the conversation to a contact center, and different steps can route to different contact centers, for example VIP customers to one and basic questions to another4. Escalation can trigger on a specific intent or when the agent misunderstands the customer4. In Cognigy Live Agent, the person receives the contact profile and earlier resolved conversations; the docs do not say whether the current AI transcript or a summary is shown5.
Controls
Safety and review features, as NiCE documents them.
- A Simulator runs LLM-driven test conversations from scenarios with a persona, a mission and up to 10 success criteria, manually or on a schedule6.
- The Simulator does not support voice conversations or handovers to human agents6.
- Snapshots are fixed versions of an agent used in production, so edits to the project do not change what customers reach; they can be moved through dev, staging and production and restored as backups7.
- Handover works from voice and from chat endpoints including Webchat, WhatsApp, Slack and Messenger4.
- Agent Evaluation and a Trust Center are listed on the product site1.

Not found in public sources
We looked for these and could not find them.
- Public prices
- What the human agent receives from the AI conversation in third-party contact centers
- Content guardrails or blocked-topic settings in public docs
- Time to launch
Billing
By contractNo public prices; licensed by contract. Standalone customers are billed for conversations, peak concurrent Voice Gateway lines with daily overage charges, and Knowledge AI queries; NiCE CXone customers are billed per conversation8.
What counts: A billable conversation is an interaction between a user and an AI agent or a human agent through the platform, up to 50 user inputs within 24 hours; under CXone billing, up to 10 minutes of a call counts as one conversation8.
Ask what counts as a billable outcome, and whether there is a minimum commitment.
